The cycle of integrated studies of Veterinary Medicine, aims to train professionals with skills and competences in the most diverse areas of veterinary practice, namely in the areas of clinic and surgery, in its aspects of diagnostic prevention and treatment, as well as in the areas of food safety, animal production, animal welfare and public health.
It is intended that the student acquires sustained experience in a strong component created by the awareness of animal welfare and constantly valuing the concept of "One Health", highlighting the role of the Veterinarian in preventive medicine, the control of zoonoses and the protection of public health. |
